Our Bronze offering is for our equine client who does not have extensions and has a standard hair color. Price: $400

Our Silver offering is for our equine client who has extensions that must be removed before receiving their new extensions. Price: $475

All that glitters is not gold…sometimes it’s silver, cream or white. Market prices for specialty colors fluctuate and are expensive. We can provide a custom quote and will custom order the hair for these clients.

We are happy to provide custom consults and color matching for our equine clients before committing to extensions. We charge $150 per consult. The cost of the consult will be applied to extension services should you choose to move forward.

All standard tails contain a 1/2 lb of natural hair. We can make a larger tail if that is your preference. Additional hair is priced based on market rate and pricing varies based on availability and color.

All tails must be washed the day before and be kept free of conditioners containing silicone or dimethicone such as Showsheen, Carr Day & Martin or Cowboy Magic.

Extension removal includes a wash and blow dry as we cannot braid into a unwashed tail.

Caring for your equine partner’s new tail will ensure longevity.

The tails must be brushed. We recommend boar’s hair brushes with nylon bristles. Brush the tail from the bottom first and gently brush the upper sections of the tail. The boar bristles will not break the horses hair and the nylon fibers will help separate fine, fragile hair without doing damage.

Tails must be kept clean. Our horse’s tails pick up dirt and sand in the arena with or without extensions. The sand dries not only our horse’s natural hair but also the extension hair. Your horse’s tail should be washed and conditioned regularly to keep the hair supple and strong.

As we are in Florida, we all know the value of drying our horses before returning them to their stall. Our braids are small and will dry under the fans.
